Domestic smartphone maker Micromax has launched two new 4G-VoLTE smartphones -- Bharat 3 & Bharat 4 -- in India today. The company has partnered with MediaTek for the launch of these handsets, the company in a statement.

Price and availability
The Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 smartphones are available starting today at Rs 4,499 and Rs 4,999.

Specifications
While the two smartphones have their differences in terms of specs, there are a few similarities as well.

The Bharat 3 smartphone offers a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 480x854p, whereas the Bharat 4 comes with a 5-inch screen with 720x1280p display. Both handsets have a 2.5D curved glass protection. The Micromax Bharat 3 is powered by a 2000mAh battery, while the Bharat 4 has a 2500mAh battery. Lastly, while the former handset has an 8GB in-built storage, the latter has 16GB internal memory.


BSNL to team up with Lava, Micromax to launch Rs 2,000 phone

The price point of upcoming feature phones, according to the top executive is currently being worked out together with partners, and added that it would be very close to Rs 2,000 with free calling facility.

Moving on to the similarities, both the handsets are powered by MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM and run Android 7.0 out-of-the-box. Both handsets sport a 5MP camera on both front and back and offer a microSD card support of up to 32GB. In terms of connectivity, the devices offer Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and 4G connectivity. The smartphones also include support for 22 Indian languages.


Recently, the company launched Canvas Plex Tab in India at Rs 12,999. The device comes with an 8-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box and is backed by a 4000mAh battery.


The tablet was launched in association with the digital platform Eros Now and comes pre-loaded with Eros Now's library of Bollywood and regional language films, TV shows, originals, music videos and more. Along with this, customers will also get one-year subscription of Eros Now digital service.
