In our first impressions, we told you how impressed we were with the camera on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. Now, take a look at the latest DxO scores for the latest launched iPhone 8. As per the review published, the iPhone 8 Plus has crossed another milestone with an impressive overall score of 92.  The camera testing site states that the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have the best smartphone cameras it’s ever tested.
Further, the camera testing site also mentioned that the camera on Apple‘s iPhone 8 is ahead of every smartphone camera other than its larger variant, the iPhone 8 Plus. The report mentions that only the zoom and Bokeh features that come along with the iPhone 8 Plus’s second camera give it a major advantage over the iPhone 8.
DxO Mark has given the iPhone 8 Plus a score of 94 out of 100 while the iPhone 8 got 92 out of 100, which are among the best found in any flagship devices as yet. To recap, the  Google Pixel and HTC U11 scored 90 each. In comparison, last year’s iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 received an 88 and 85 rating respectively. The OnePlus 5 on the other hand, scored 87, which is relatively less than the camera scores that some of the other smartphones in the premium category got.
In terms of camera specifications, the Apple iPhone 8 features a 12-megapixel camera at the rear. The iPhone 8 Plus has a dual-camera setup, which consists of a pair of 12-megapixel sensors, one of which has an f/1.8 aperture, while the other comes with f/2.8 aperture. Both the cameras also feature OIS. The smartphones’ camera setup is accompanied by a quad-lad True Tone flash and features 1080p 240 fps slow-mo, and supports videos at 4K 60 fps.
