NEW DELHI: The festive season is round the corner and all the e-commerce companies are gearing up to cash-in on the festive spirit. Last week, Indian e-commerce major Flipkart announced the dates of its Big Billion Day sale (September 20 to 24) and now Amazon too has announced the dates for its Great Indian Festival sale. Amazon will hold its Great Indian Festival sale from September 21 to September 24. The four-day sale will have special offers for Amazon Prime members. They will also get early access to some offers, starting noon September 20.


As part of the Great Indian festival, Amazon will offer 40,000 deals including some lightning deals every hour. The US-based e-commerce giant will give up to 40% discounts on smartphones from brands like Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Motorola, Lenovo, Honor, LG, Coolpad, Blackberry, Micromax and Nokia.


Flipkart Big Billion Day sale: Company promising up to 90% discount on select products

Leading Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart has announced the dates for its upcoming Big Billion Days sale.

Along with these, there will also be a discounts of up to 60% on all electronics and home appliances. Laptops will be available at up to 20% discount, whereas there will be a discount of up to 50% on cameras including DSLRs.


The customers will be able to avail up to 20% discount on TVs and 60% on headphones and speakers. The wearable devices will be available at up to 40% discount. There will also be offers worth Rs 5,000 on Amazon Kindle devices.


Amazon will be giving 10% cashback to customers who will pay using HDFC debit and credit cards. Moreover, the customers will also be entitled to 10% cashback if they make the payment using Amazon Pay. The e-tailer is also planning to hold Amazon App Jackpot contest and with prizes worth Rs 2 lakh.
