NEW DELHI: Motorola has finally launched its much talked about budget smartphone, the Moto G5S and the Moto G5s Plus, in India. The Moto G5S is priced at Rs 13,999. The Moto G5S Plus is priced at Rs 15,999. Both will be available from Amazon India starting tonight at 12am.

Billed as successors to the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus, the new 'Special Edition' smartphones run on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and sport metal unibody design. They have a home button at the front embedded with a fingerprint scanner. The duo comes in Lunar Grey and Gold colour variants.

The Moto G5S sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The processor is clubbed with 4GB RAM. It includes 32GB inbuilt storage and can support up to 128GB via a microSD card.




The smartphone comes with a 16MP rear camera with PDAF along with a 5MP front-facing camera, coupled with a LED flash. Besides supporting 4G LTE connectivity, the handset is backed by a 3000mAh battery, which also supports TurboPower fast charging feature.


The Moto G5S Plus has a larger 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The handset comes in 4GB RAM+32GB storage model. Also supported is a microSD card with up to 128GB storage.


The camera is the highlight of the smartphone. The Moto G5S Plus comes with a dual rear camera setup, including two 13MP sensors. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera with LED flash. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
